Gatorland at Myakka Park
The Deep Hole at Myakka River State Park is a very interesting place.
Once you arrive at the park, you have to get a permit. Only 30 permits are given out at a time. Then you walk 2 miles out to the sink hole. The day I was there I counted around 60 gators in and around the water. If you move slow, they just look at you. If you move fast, they swim away. I was able to get some good images. Ospreys with their fresh catch
Over the past few weeks I've been lucky to see/photograph some Ospreys catching their meals.
Here are a few of my favorites.
All the images were shot with Canon 70D with Canon 100-400mm L II lens.

Shutterbug Magazine's Photo of the Day
How cool is this? My image of the Osprey catching his breakfast fish made Photo of the Day on their website. This is my 3rd time winning Photo of the Day honors. It's really great to be picked. I get a lot of great comments from photographers around the world. This was taken with Canon 70D with Canon 100-400mm L II lens, f/5.6, 1/3200, ISO 200.

Fly over Nokomis Beach, FL
I was out enjoying my new DJI Phantom 4 flying over Nokomis Beach near Sarasota, FL. It was a perfect day to fly. Great sky and little wind. This is the north jetty. If you look really close to the left of the opening of the jetty you can see 2 manatees swimming. What a great view. Can't wait to do more flying over this great area.
