Day 8- Around the Alps Tour 2016- Switzerland

We spend the day going from Zurich to Lucerne to Interlaken and then back to Zurich. A full day of walking and sights.

Switzerland is beautiful to travel around. Everything is so clean and crisp. We arrived in Lucerne early morning. It was overcast but at least not raining. We spent about an hour here before moving on. Nice city on the river.

Then it was off to Interlaken. Along the way we stopped for some pics and lunch. We made a stop at the Giessbach Falls and Hotel Giessbach. GREAT views. Waterfalls flowing down to the lake. All can be seen from the hotel.

Once we finished with our waterfall pics, it was off to Interlaken. It is a nice tourist city with a great view of the Alps, (on a clear day). We had ice cream as we walked the streets finishing our last stop on our tour.

Now is back to Zurich and pack. We have to be up at 4:30 am to get to the airport for our return back to Sarasota.

It was a long trip around the Alps. We saw LOTS. Miss a lot too. But it is hard to believe that we covered over 1800 miles in about a week. That I took over 3k photos. Had we had better weather the first few days I would have taken even more.
